A detective story which takes place in the 19th century in Istanbul in the Ottoman era. A successful police officer, Filinta Mustafa, and a charismatic and successful Khadi (a high level judge), Giyaseddin Hatemi, work hard to keep the peace in Galata, Istanbul.
